Raith Rovers 0-0 Queen of South

SFL

Raith Rovers and Queen of the South earned a point apiece as a dour end-of-season encounter finished goalless.

Johnny Russell twice came close to putting the hosts ahead, a rasping 18-yard drive hitting the bar before he volleyed just side.

Derek Holmes blazed over for the visitors, while Paul Burns squandered a chance from the edge of the area.

William McLaren was denied by Raith keeper David McGurn as the Division One game entered its final 10 minutes.

The draw means Queens can no longer overtake second-top Dundee.
