East Fife 0-1 Alloa

Alloa maintained their six-point advantage at the top of the Second Division win an away win at East Fife.

The only goal of the game came after 55 minutes when Brown Ferguson played in Declan McAvoy to fire in from 12 yards.

East Fife were made to pay for poor finishing after dominating early on but failing to find the back of the net.

Paul McManus had an effort just after the half-hour mark that was brilliantly tipped around the post by David Crawford in the Alloa goal.
