Cowdenbeath 2-1 Dumbarton

Cowdenbeath remained top of Second Division after coming from behind to defeat Dumbarton.

Andy Geggan fired home a curling shot to give Dumbarton a fifth-minute lead.

But Beath levelled on 18 minutes after Stevie Murray was adjudged to have fouled John Armstrong in the box and Paul McQuade converted the spot-kick.

McQuade struck the winner with eight minutes remaining when he met Scott Linton's cross at the near-post and flicked the ball past Jan Vojacek.


Cowdenbeath: Hay, Droudge, Armstrong, Mbu, Linton, Adamson (Stein 77), Winter, Robertson, Ramsay (Fairbairn 70), Wardlaw, McQuade (McBride 88).
