Inverness CT 2-0 Airdrie Utd

Inverness moved to within five points of the First Division leaders with a comfortable home victory over Airdrie.

Dani Sanchez poked the ball between the legs of Airdrie goalkeeper Stephen Robertson after being put through by Dougie Imrie just before the break.

John Baird passed up a good chance to equalise for the visitors, now at the bottom of the table, after the break.

And substitute Eric Odhiambo made the game safe for Inverness with a fine finish in the 69th minute.
