Dunfermline 3-1 Partick Thistle

Two goals by Willie Gibson helped Dunfermline to a home victory over Partick Thistle.

The Pars took the lead early on when Gibson's corner was knocked down by Neil McGregor and Steven McDougall bundled the ball over the line.

Gibson doubled the lead six minutes before the break, catching Craig Hinchcliffe off his line from 20 yards.

Paul Cairney pulled Thistle back into the match on 47 minutes but Gibson made sure of victory in the final minute.
