Forfar Athletic 2-1 Annan Ath

Forfar battled their way to victory with a scrappy win over Annan.

Ross Campbell's header edged Forfar into the lead, then Forfar doubled their advantage four minutes later when Ian Harty fired in.

Annan were guilty of wasting chances, Brian Gilfillan going close with two headers that should have tested home keeper Conor Grant.

The visitors did eventually manage to pull a goal back in the 52 minute, David Cox capitalising on a mix-up.
