Stirling surrendered top spot in the Second Division as they slumped to defeat by Alloa.

The only goal came in the 23rd minute when Andy Scott smashed home a penalty after Kenny Feaks felled Stuart Noble.

Stirling pushed for an equaliser in the second half but John O'Neill headed just wide from an Andy Graham cross.

The visitors threatened on the break and should have sealed it after 87 minutes when Mark Brown ran clear, but his shot was saved by Scott Christie.
