East Fife 1-2 Peterhead

Peterhead came from behind to clinch a win against 10-man East Fife in a controversial encounter at Bay View.

The Fifers took the lead in four minutes when Paul McManus rounded the keeper and hit the back of the net.

Martin Bavidge thumped a header off the bar with little over 10 minutes to go and the referee decided that Bobby Mann's rebound had crossed the line.

Jon Smart was sent off for felling John Stewart in the 86th minute, and then Stewart converted from the spot.
