Peterhead 3-2 Stirling Albion

Three first-half goals by Peterhead were required to see off a spirited Stirling Albion side at Balmoor.

Callum McDonald and John Stewart had the hosts two up by 30 minutes.

Stirling pulled one back in the 37th minute through Martin Grehan's header, before the Blue Toon restored their two-goal lead with a Nicky Clark goal.

Stewart Devine made it 3-2 on 65 minutes but, as the visitors pressed to level, they had Ross Forsyth sent off with four minutes to go.


Peterhead: Bateman, Donald, Cameron, Stuart Smith, MacDonald, McVitie, Sharp, Clark, Ross (Strachan 79), Stewart, Bavidge (Bruce 66).
