Alloa Athletic 2-0 Clyde

Alloa ended their six-match winless run in style with victory over Clyde at Recreation Park.

Brian Carrigan set Alloa on their way in the 14th minute when he drove in the opener from a Mark Brown cross.

The striker almost doubled his tally shortly afterwards and was unlucky to rattle the crossbar from 25 yards out.

Clyde rallied and went close through Gary Muir and Paul McLeod. But Stuart Noble headed Alloa's second to seal victory in the 87th minute.
