Airdrie United 0-1 Ross County

Gary Wood struck a second-half winner as Ross County climbed to the top of the Division One table.

The home side forced the early play and John Baird was twice foiled by keeper Michael McGovern.

Despite dominating possession, Airdrie United never looked like scoring after their early flurry.

With 12 minutes remaining, the home defence was static and the ball slowly made its way to Wood, who turned and fired a shot home.
