E Stirlingshire 1-0 Berwick

SFL

A controversial goal at the start of the second half gave East Stirlingshire a narrow victory against Berwick.

Andrew Rodgers fired past Berwick keeper Mark Peat after a Stephen McGuire flick, but Berwick maintained that the goal should not have stood.

Berwick contested the throw-in that started the move and will feel aggrieved not to have taken a point.

Shire had chances when McGuire hit the crossbar and sub Marc McKenzie shot straight into Peat's arms.
