County celebrate their winning goal
County were the ones celebrating in Greenock after Wood's goal

Ross County moved into second spot in the First Division after a second-half strike by Garry Wood ended Morton's revival under their caretaker bosses.

Alex Keddie also screwed a shot wide from six yards when found unmarked.

County got the winner in the 68th minute when Martin Scott's low shot found Wood, who diverted the ball home.
