Dunfermline Athletic 3-1 Ayr Utd

Willie Gibson scored two and set up the other as Dunfermline ended a four-game losing streak in Division One by defeating Ayr United at East End Park.

Ayr keeper Craig Samson denied Graeme Bayne with a stunning save then Andy Kirk had a goal ruled out for offside.

But Kirk converted a low Gibson cross to the front post after the break.

Gibson fired home a minute later and pounced after Samson had parried a David Graham shot before Chris Aitken replied from the penalty spot.
