Airdrie United 1-2 Raith Rovers


Raith Rovers survived a late rally from bottom side Airdrie to win a Division One game that both ended with 10 men.

Rovers took the lead after 26 mintues, when Iain Davidson rose unchallenged to head home an Allan Walker free-kick.

Iain Williamson fired home from an angle two minutes after the restart andAirdrie's Bobby Donnelly was given a second yellow a minute later.

Gregory Tade was shown a second yellow with six minutes left before Diarmuid O'Carroll fired in a late reply.

Airdrie Utd: Robertson, Parratt (Smith 34), Storey, McDonald, Bobby Donnelly, Nixon, Trouten, McCann, O'Carroll, Lagana (Kevin Watt 57), Baird.
