Stranraer 0-2 Elgin City

Elgin City recorded their first Third Division league win of the season as Stranraer were beaten 2-0 at home.

The visitors took a fifth-minute lead when Craig Gunn rolled the ball under the body of goalkeeper David Mitchell.

Stranraer's Stuart McColm was denied an equaliser by an impressive save by Josh Gibson before half-time.

Jason Crooks sealed Elgin's win with a penalty on 53 minutes before Stranraer substitute Richard Jones had a goal ruled out for offside.
