Alloa Athletic 0-0 East Fife

SFL

Alloa Athletic missed the opportunity to put pressure on Division Two leaders Stirling Albion after a goal-less draw at home to East Fife.

The Wasps had plenty of opportunities in the first half and Andy Scott was denied by a great save from goalkeeper Stuart Baillie.

Alloa had a penalty appeal turned down when Guy Kerr appeared to bring down Mark Gilhaney after the break.

Scott Walker also had the ball in the net, but it was ruled out for a push.
