East Stirlingshire and Stranraer were forced to settle for a draw in a drab Third Division encounter.

The visitors took the lead after 39 minutes when Danny Mitchell nodded in a Raymond Montgomerie cross.

The home team equalised on 54 minutes when Craig Tully powered a header home from Dean Richardson's corner.

Shire's Jamie Stevenson's hit the crossbar with a 20-yard free-kick and Stranraer's Martin Jack was denied by a a great Jamie Barclay save.
