Brechin 1-0 Stenhousemuir

Brechin climbed above Stenhousemuir and into third place in Division Two with a narrow but deserved victory.

The home side made all of the early running, with Willie Dyer and Rory McAllister going close.

Brechin scored on 23 minutes when a Richard Walker pass released Charlie King and he smashed a shot home.

Stenhousemuir won a penalty seven minutes into the second half for a foul on Craig Molloy but Scott Dalziel had his penalty saved by Craig Nelson.
