Dumbarton 0-3 Cowdenbeath

Scott McBride's double saw Cowdenbeath coast to victory over a poor Dumbarton side at the Strathclyde Homes stadium.

McBride broke the deadlock after 15 minutes from close range after the home defence failed to clear Brian Fairbairn's cross.

The visitors doubled their lead through Gareth Wardlaw's header after good work again by the impressive Fairbairn.

McBride got his second of the game and his side's third with a superb 25-yard strike to compound Sons' misery.
