Queen's Park 0-1 Raith Rovers


Raith Rovers took the Division Two title by beating Queens Park, who must now play a relegation play-off.

The Kirkcaldy side calmed any nerves at Hampden as they took the lead after only 47 seconds.

Steven Hislop knocked the ball into the path of Graham Weir on the edge of the 18-yard box and the striker lashed a first-time volley past Zander Cowie.

The Spiders were denied a penalty in the second half and ended with 10 men when debutant Paul McGinn was sent off.

Queen's Park: Cowie, Ure, Boslem, Brough (McGinn 59), Douglas, Holms, Ronald, Cairney, Harkins (Watt 56), Odenewo, Nicholas (Murray 75).
