Cowdenbeath 2-0 Dumbarton

Cowdenbeath moved to within two points of Division Three leaders Stenhousemuir after a deserved win over 10-man Dumbarton at Central Park.

Defender Kenny Adamson put the home side in front after 13 minutes after running 25 yards before blasting home.

Michael Dunlop was shown a straight red card after 37 minutes for a foul on Paul McQuade.

Mark Canning squandered a chance to equalise and McQuade secured victory with a low drive from 20 yards.
