The Scottish Football League has handed its member clubs a £300,000 payment to ease any possible financial problems.
Sponsorship deals with Irn-Bru and Co-operative Insurance have helped put the SFL on a sound financial footing.
And chief executive David Longmuir sanctioned the early release of monies to the 30 clubs.
"To the bigger SFL clubs £10,000 may not seem like a lot of money," Longmuir told the Scottish Sun. " "Go down the scale though and it will mean a lot."
