Rampant Annan Athletic put further distance between themselves and the bottom of Division Three by hammering basement outfit Elgin City.

Annan went ahead after 25 minutes when Neilson forced home the rebound after Graham Bell's header came off the bar.

Bell ran clear and fired home and, just two minutes later, the outcome was put beyond doubt when Mike Jack lashed home from 10 yards out.

Darren Johnstone nodded home and Jack finished the scoring with a penalty.
