SFA president George Peat was criticised after the clubs were demoted
The long-running row which saw three clubs demoted from the elite level of youth football by the Scottish FA could be resolved on Monday.
Dundee, Dunfermline and Ross County were refused entry earlier this year on grounds of failing to comply with child protection criteria.
However, the clubs have been re-audited and are expected to be re-admitted when an SFA committee meets on Monday.
The clubs would therefore re-enter the performance league at Hampden.
Legal action had been threatened after the clubs were not admitted at the beginning of the season and MSPs were asked to intervene.
However, the SFA reviewed the situation in September and stated that the clubs would be allowed back into the league in the New Year if they satisfied the requirements of a second audit.
