Ayr United 1-1 Brechin City

Ayr reclaimed top spot in the second division and kept their unbeaten league run intact - but had to work hard in an entertaining 1-1 draw with Brechin.

Brechin began strongly and Gary Twigg crashed a shot off the post after turning well at the edge of the box.

Twigg then rose to head home via the underside of the bar from a Neil Janczyk corner.

Ayr equalised four minutes before the break when Ryan Stevenson sent a 25-yard screamer into the bottom corner.
