A hat-trick from striker Paul McManus saw East Fife cruise to a resounding win over sorry Alloa Athletic at Recreation Park.

McManus opened the scoring after 29 minutes from the penalty spot after Kyle MacAulay pulled down Dene Shields.

It was 2-0 on 48 minutes when the Fifers were awarded a penalty by the linesman and McManus made no mistake.

The game was over as a contest when a terrific cross from Stevie Crawford was driven home by the impressive McManus.
