Queen o' South 2-2 St Johnstone

Queen of the South defender Jim Thomson scored at both ends as his side were held at home by St Johnstone.

The home side made the breakthrough on 52 minutes when David Weatherston was brought down and Stephen Dobbie slotted away the penalty.

Saints were level when Thomson headed past his own keeper and took the lead when Derek Holmes prodded home.

But Queens levelled with eight minutes left when Thomson was on the spot to benefit from Alan Main's fumble.
