Stranraer 1-3 Ayr United

Ayr maintained their fine start to the season with a comfortable win over 10-man Stranraer at Stair Park.

The home side went behind after 32 minutes when Chris Aitken cut in from the right and netted with a low shot.

Stranraer's Gregory Tade saw red before Ayr extended their lead through a Ryan Borris rebound in the 62nd minute.

Stranraer pulled one back after Stephen McConalogue blasted in from a Craig Frizzell pass, but with five minutes to play Bryan Prunty sealed the winner.
