Dundee 1-0 Clyde

Mickael Antoine-Courier's thunderbolt gave Dundee a welcome win but the home side looked far from title favourites.

The Dark Blues desperately needed a lift after a poor opening and it came on the stroke of half-time via a cracking 25-yard shot from the striker.

After the break, Dundee pushed forward and had several good opportunities but they could not convert.

Veteran keeper Rab Douglas played a key role in maintaining the Dark Blues' lead with a number of fine saves.

Dundee: Douglas, Paton, Malone, McHale, Cowan (MacKenzie 15), Williams, Daquin, Poznak, McMenamin (Davidson 73), Antoine-Curier, Gilhaney (O'Brien 78). Subs Not Used: Roy, Deasley.

Goal: Antoine-Curier 44.
