Robbie Raeside was on target for Arbroath

Robbie Raeside and Barry Sellars were on target as Arbroath won the first leg of their Division Two play-off final against Stranraer.

The Red Lichties took the lead through Raeside in the 43rd minute.

Paul Watson's in-swinging corner was headed back across goal by Jamie Bishop and Raeside nodded home.

Arbroath doubled their lead in the 60th minute when Alan Brazil pushed forward for the home side before releasing Sellars to score with a cool finish.


Arbroath: Hill, Rennie (McMullan 89), Black, Raeside, Bishop, Tully, Lunan (Masson 69), Campball (Reilly 82), Brazil, Sellars, Watson. Subs Not Used: McBride, Morrison.

Booked: Tully.
