Elgin City 1-5 Stenhousemuir

Robert Love fired a hat-trick as Stenhousemuir produced a five-star show against Elgin at Borough Briggs.

The striker opened the scoring with a cool finish after six minutes before Steven Ferguson netted the second.

Jason Crooks pulled a goal back, but Love struck once more before the break to increase the visitors' lead.

Love fed Paul Tyrrell to drill home from the edge of the box and Tyrrell then turned provider as Love sealed his hat-trick in 65 minutes.

Elgin: Ridgers, Nicolson, Mackay, Niven, Kaczan (Ross 46), Hind, Sutherland (Bryan Cameron 79), Campbell, Crooks, O'Donoghue, Frizzel. Subs Not Used: Gilbert, Archibald, Bowden.
