East Stirlingshire beat promotion-chasing Montrose to avoid the bottom spot in the Scottish Football League for the first time in six years.

David King had put through his own net to give Montrose the lead, but Andy Rodgers headed in the equaliser.

Joe Savage accepting a pass from Rodgers after 65 minutes to fire home from 20 yards out.

Michael Bolochoweckyj headed the third to secure a win, with Forfar finishing bottom after drawing with Dumbarton.
