East Fife 2-1 Arbroath

Champions East Fife came from a goal behind to win their final home game of the season 2-1 against Arbroath.

Arbroath scored after 21 minutes through Paul Lunan and went in at the break with their 1-0 lead intact.

Paul McManus equalised from the spot after 69 minutes and the Fifers' top scorer claimed his 17th goal of the season to seal it with 10 minutes left.

Despite their defeat, Arbroath's play-off berth was confirmed after Elgin went down 3-2 at Montrose.


East Fife: Wight, McDonald, Cameron, Smart, Tweed, Fotheringham, Stewart, Greenhill, McManus, Templeman, Linn. Subs Not Used: Gordon, O'Reilly, Nicholas, Muir, McCulloch.

Goals: McManus 69 pen, 80.

Arbroath: Hill, Rennie, Black, Raeside, Bishop, Rattray, Lunan, Campbell, Brazil, Watson, Reilly. Subs Not Used: Tosh, McMullen, Deasley, McBride, Morrison.

Goals: Lunan 21.
