Dumbarton's lowest crowd of the season turned out at the Stratchclyde Homes Stadium to witness a drab goalless draw with fellow strugglers Forfar Athletic.

Goalscoring chances were few and far between and there was little for the 258 fans to cheer.

Dumbarton substitute Chris Hamilton should have secured the points late in the game but somehow missed the target from a few yards.

The visitors then had John Fraser sent off in the closing minutes.
