Gregory Tade kept Stranraer's promotion dream on target with the only goal against Dumbarton.

The big striker rose unmarked to head home a cross from Andrew Gibson after 66 minutes.

Dumbarton had made a bright start but faded quickly as the visitors took control.

The Sons were reduced to 10 men when Chris Gentile was sent off for a second booking and their rivals stayed in front to head the play-off race.
