Stevie Crawford salvaged a point for Dunfermline at a very wet McDiarmid Park against St Johnstone.
Steven Milne missed two great chances early on for the home side before Dunfermline hit back and Kevin Harper's effort was tipped over by Alan Main.
But Allan McManus headed in a Paul Sheerin free-kick at the far post.
Pars goalkeeper Paul Gallacher denied Milne and Peter MacDonald after the break, but Crawford finished a solo run by firing home from a tight angle.
St Johnstone: Main, Irvine, Stanic (Moon 73), Morris, Rutkiewicz, McManus, MacDonald (Weatherston 88), Milne, Jackson (Wilson 83), Craig, Sheerin. Subs Not Used: Anderson, Cuthbert.
