Queens secured their first point of the season against Dunfermline in an entertaining clash at Palmerston.

The hosts took the lead after eight minutes when Neil MacFarlane slipped the ball through to Bob Harris who netted from close range.

The Pars equalised in the 25th minute when Stephen Simmons was brought down on the edge of the box and Scott Morrison scored with a superb shot.

Pars keeper Paul Gallacher thwarted Queens as they pushed for a winner.
