Stranraer 0-2 East Fife

East Fife proved themselves worthy leaders of the Third Division with a win at Stranraer.

Paul McManus put the Fifers ahead after just 38 seconds before Bobby Linn put the result beyond doubt with five minutes to go.

McManus whipped in an early 25-yard shot which went in off the post before any of the home players had even had a touch of the ball.

Linn picked up a loose ball in the 85th minute before speeding on to score.
