Airdrie United held Cowdenbeath to a draw at Central Park in a game which saw visiting defender Mark Smyth sent off in injury time.
Cowdenbeath got off to a great start with a well-taken goal from Pat Clarke after six minutes.
Home keeper David Hay made a number of good saves before a Matthew Doherty chip rebounded off the crossbar.
Airdrie equalised after 55 minutes with a Stuart Noble header. Smyth saw red for elbowing sub Bryan Deasley.
