Stirling Albion 2-1 Gretna
Stirling stunned Scottish Cup finalists and Second Division Champions Gretna at Forthbank Stadium.

Albion opened the scoring after a mix-up between Derek Townsley and goalkeeper Alan Main allowed Chris Aitken to fire into an empty net.

Stirling doubled their lead a minute before the interval when Paddy Connolly headed into the net.

Greta finally scored in the 72nd minute after a goalmouth scramble as Kenny Deuchar fired into the roof of the net.

John O'Neil was red carded for the visitors in the final minute for deliberate handball.


Stirling: Hogarth, Roycroft, Boyack, McNally (O'Brien 75), Graham, Aitken, Paul Hay, Steven Bell, Connolly (Dunn 65), Chris Hay (Millar 56), Forsyth. Subs Not Used: Wilson, Christie.
