Kevin Gordon's second-half brace helped East Fife to a home victory over a poor Montrose side.
Paul Hampshire put the Fifers ahead after eight minutes with a free-kick, before home 'keeper John Dodds saved Greg Henslee's spot-kick.
Gordon then added two goals in three minutes to put the result beyond doubt.
Joe Savage then took full advantage of slack defending to dance through the defence, before calmly stroking the ball past Sandy Wood.
