Peterhead 1-2 Ross County
Ross County beat Third Division Peterhead to reach the Bell's Scottish League Challenge Cup third round.

Alex Burke gave County the lead after half an hour, collecting John Rankin's pass to shoot low into the net.

A minute before the break a corner from Charlie Adam, on loan from Rangers, was headed back across goal by Burke and Martin Canning nodded in.

Peterhead scored a late penalty with Martin Bavidge netting four minutes from time.

Peterhead: Mathers, Tully, Good, Raeside, Perry, Gibson (Graeme Stewart 77), Robertson (Campbell 72), Buchan, Youngson, Michie (Johnston 22), Bavidge. Subs Not Used: Milne, Buchanan.

Booked: Graeme Stewart.
