Karim Kerkar set up the winner for Aron Wilford for the second game running as Clyde overcame 10-man Airdrie United in the CIS Insurance Cup second round.

Airdrie striker Stephen McKeown was sent off for a rash challenge on John Potter after only 20 minutes.

There were few chances until the winner as the home side packed their defence.

Algeria midfielder Kerkar miscued his shot after a lovely one-two at the edge of the box with 17 minutes left, but Wilford scrambled home the decider.
