An entertaining highland derby between Ross County Inverness Caley Thistle ended all square at Victoria Park.
Ross County were awarded a penalty in the second minute when Hugh Robertson was scythed down by Richie Hart, and former Celtic midfielder David Hannah made no mistake from the spot.
Despite that early setback Thistle took control and after David Bingham and Bobby Mann had been denied, Inverness levelled in the 22nd minute when Mann found the top corner of the net with a well-struck free-kick.
Both sides had chances to take three points during a more evenly-contested second half.
The best of these fell to County substitute Jim Hamilton, who was foiled by Thistle goalkeeper Mark Brown and former County striker Steve Hislop headed wide with the goal at his mercy.
County could have snatched it at the death when an overhead kick from Robertson was brilliantly tipped round the post.
