Bairns edge seven-goal thriller
A spectacular hat-trick from joint caretaker boss Owen Coyle gave leaders Falkirk a 4-3 victory in a thrilling top-of-the table encounter with Inverness Caley Thistle at the Caledonian Stadium. The home side got off to a dream start when Barry Robson converted a Dennis Wyness pass on eight minutes. Twenty minutes later Wyness skipped past two defenders before extending the lead, but Coyle reduced the deficit with a powerful header on 31. Collin Samuel took advantage of slack defending two minutes later to equalise, but Paul Ritchie restored the Highlanders' lead when he headed in Wyness' cross on 56 minutes. But the visitors stormed back, and Coyle made it 3-3 on 73 minutes, before completing his hat-trick and sealing a dramatic win with a stunning volley four minutes from time.
