Ayr United 1-1 Livingston
Barry Wilson put Livingston ahead from the spot
Barry Wilson put Livingston ahead from the spot
John Bradford denied table-toppers Livingston all three points with a last-gasp penalty to keep Ayr's slender promotion hopes alive.

Livingston took the lead after 16 minutes through another penalty converted by Barry Wilson after he had fallen under a challenge from Neil Duffy.

Referee Stuart Dougall then denied Ayr what looked a certain spot-kick when Bradford was flattened in the box by defender Marvin Andrews.

Ayr pressed for an equaliser in the second half but could not get past the inspired Andrews at the hearts of the visiting defence.

Gary Teale went close to levelling for the home side but his drive flew just wide.

Just when it looked like Livingston would take all the points, Bradford was upended by Philippe Brinquin and coolly converted the resulting penalty.

Ayr United: Nelson, Campbell, Duffy, Craig, McEwan, Teale, Wilson, McGinlay, Sharp, Bradford, Annand.

Subs: Scally, Renwick, Rovde, Lovering, Grady.

Livingston: Alexander, Brinquin, McCulloch, Andrews, Deas, McPhee, Tosh, Anderson, Bingham, Wilson, Burns.
