Elgin 2-1 Livingston

Scottish Cup

Elgin City produced one of the biggest shocks of the Scottish Cup third round with a home win over Division Two leaders Livingston.

In a tight first period Robbie Winters twice went close for the visitors but he saw his shots blocked by the home side's resolute defence.

Craig Gunn struck a well placed shot to give Elgin the lead in the 60th minute.

Ian Russell levelled the match 13 minutes later, before Jason Crooks' left-footed drive won it for Elgin.

Elgin: Donnelly, Dempsie, Duff, Nicolson, Kaczan, Cameron, O'Donoghue (Niven 20), Jake Inglis, Barry Wilson (Millar 79), Crooks, Gunn (MacDonald 86). Subs Not Used: John Calder, Edwards.
