East Fife 3-1 Forfar

Scottish Cup

East Fife produced a clinical display at New Bayview to ease through to the fourth round of the Scottish Cup at the expense of Forfar.

The home side took the lead with a Robert Sloan penalty, after Stephen Tulloch brought down Craig Johnstone.

Forfar had plenty possession, but a close range Johnstone goal doubled East Fife's lead before the break.

Steven Hislop made it three, before Andy Todd nodded in a late Forfar consolation.


East Fife: Michael Brown, Durie (McGowan 40), Steven Campbell, Smart, Ovenstone, Linn, Muir, Sloan, Johnstone, Hislop, Crawford (Young 87). Subs Not Used: Cargill, Tansey, Baillie.
