Ayr United 5-0 Sunnybank

Scottish Cup

Ayr produced a five-star display to crush Sunnybank in the third round of the Scottish Cup at Somerset Park.

Stuart Bannigan put the Division Two side in front in the 44th minute with a fine strike from 12 yards and Mark Roberts netted a penalty soon after.

Roberts added his second of the day in the 74th minute, again from the spot, before Williams Steel and Steven Bartlett were dismissed for Sunnybank.

Andy Rodgers fired a late brace to compound the non-league side's agony.
